Conversations at the Intersection of PR, Traditional & New Media

PRPOI’s Workshop on Content Generation for PR

Let’s face it, your prospective clients and consumers are watching you, and more importantly, reading about you and forming opinions – be it through your website, across social networks and through every piece of communication you share. At the same time, every vehicle or channel has a voice and tone to be followed. With changing consumer demands and consumption of new age media, your content can no longer just remain content. It has to excite, communicate and engage …whether it is for Press Release or Pitch Notes for Bloggers or a press note for E-zine or a small note for the SMN team to be tweeted. On a more immediate level than ever before !! Plus each one has to be relevant to that particular audience. And don’t forget timely as well. In order to create such content, it is essential to keep in mind each vertical’s target audience in mind, while understanding the paradigms these work in. Thus the topic ‘Generating Content for PR’.

Content Writing has also been voted by our community as the most lacking skills in the PR industry today. But before we get down to ‘writing’ you need to have a strategy for content. Do you have one for your brand or the client you are handling ?

PRPOI has organized a hand’s on workshop with Asif Upadhye from Yellow Seed Content Solutions on how to put together relevant content for PR that can be leveraged with various verticals of media ! The session will be interspersed with real time examples from the PR industry.
